| Baylands Refuge Does Marin need more land confined into a Bayland Refuge Boundary Map that forces time consuming contentions over how the land set into that boundary should be used? Marin presently has over 84% of its land set into open space, agricultural reserve and park land. (For more see See Facts&Figures). Aren't affordable housing, transit, and energy issues much more important issues to spend resources on than establishing refuges on the land of property owners -- who do not want to be included in a refuge boundary? The case against even udertaking a Baylands Refuge Study for Marin is strong (click to Case Against the Baylands Refuge Mapping Project.)
